Author bio:
Working on sixth novel manuscript. Lived during my youth in Costa Rica, returned there as a Fulbright Fellow in 1987-88. Penn State grad - twice. Publ. novel: Los Caminantes, 2005; selected poems: Wound in the Sun 2009. Wrote novel Kerguelen during 2008 Nanowrimo--now called Half-Life. Awarded an Individual Artist Fellowship by the state of Florida for Half-Life, 2010. Wrote Olaudah during 2009 NaNoWriMo. Completed a large portion of the sequel to the 2008 novel Half-Life in 2010 (tentatively titled Quarter-Life). My goal is to finish that novel this year, and, if there is time, may do a prequel story/novella to the whole series, titled "The Outset."
