Author bio:

I’m a woman in her 40′s, married, with three children; I live on a beef cattle farm in Southwest Virginia. I’ve always lived within 300 miles of here, with occasional journeys to as far away as Poland, New Zealand, Australia, Czechoslovakia, Lake Tahoe, Maine, Austria, Vermont, Montreal, Malta, Rome and Hawaii. I do the books for the farm, volunteer with the local high school's Band Boosters, and sing with a local community chorus for fun.

I like cats and pools; I don’t like snakes, rude people, or swimming in lakes. I love Jesus, my family, a good tomater sammich with real mayonnaise, beef vegetable soup, Mozart, Crowded House, used perfume bottles from eBay, crunchy autumn leaves, marching bands, sledding, and blooming redbud trees. My ceilings have dusty cobwebs on them, but I like to iron.

I have a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting, but I wish I’d done a BA in American Literature. I enjoy blogging about perfume and various life-related stuff.
