Author bio:

I co-own a bookstore in Montana which is pretty much my dream job. I get to connect books and readers.
I've been wanting to write for a long time, but due to a time-management issue, I've never made the time for it. On a trip to the coast mid-October 2010, I wrote a short story and I was thrilled that I did it. I haven't gone back to it yet for editing, but I knew I wanted to keep writing and keep up the momentum, so when I was reminded about NaNo (everybody was talking about it last year, did any one else notice that?) I decided to try it. I did not complete the challenge, but I'm very proud of the 30,000 words I DID do! 2011, we had a loss in the family, so I only got 13,000, but this year, I'm in it to win it!!
I do quite a bit of local theater, I started a book club and a writer's group here at Chapter One, and I seem to be on everyone's list of possible volunteers, so I'm usually one of those "very busy" people. I'm trying to change that.
I'm married with 2 cats and at this point everyone else in the house is supportive, but we'll see how long that lasts.
