The problem with most writers is that they are usually introverts by nature. While I am fine with this fact, it is nice to have some sort of vivid conversation before/after write-ins. The novelling process is hard. The camaraderie of the process is one of the things that makes NaNo fun. So don't be afraid to strike up a conversation!
My name is Matt. I'm 31. I completed Nano last year about four days late and have an ugly novel as a reminder. Maybe one day I'll actually edit it. This year I will be attempting to slather over 75k on sheets of digital paper. It's a tough job, but someone has got to do it.
