Author bio:
I worked in bookstores most of my adult life because I loved the smell of new books. When I became a cancer survivor in 2003, I discovered I could no longer say, “One day I will ” I learned to say, “Today I am. ”
I began in Canada, worked and raised my family in California, lived in Italy and now I have returned to Toronto.
My essays and stories have appeared in a number of anthologies including the recently published “ Voices of Breast Cancer” as well as “ Something that Matters: Life, Love and Unexpected Adventures in the Middle of the Journey. ” My work has also been published in the Contra Costa Times, The Monthly, Today’s Caregiver, VerbSap, Martha Stewart.com, Intent.com, The Canadian Jewish News and The Florentine.
