I'm newly married and a full time student/part time veterinary technician. I wrote my first short story at 9 years old. I focused on poetry for most of my life and now have a renewed excitement for short stories/novellas. I am a Christian. I have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 snakes (also 5 fire belly toads, but who's counting). I have two passions, one is writing and the other is science. So I am constantly in an inner debate about applying to Vet or Med School or getting a degree in English. My list of things to do in life contains writing a novel and owning my own coffee shop. I think they go hand in hand.
