Synopsis
Four kids embark on a mission to resurrect a league of Dragon Protectors, as they are called, to literally save the world. But with no one to lead them and some very dangerous enemies, could they be killed before they even began saving the world?
Excerpt
Bryan sat at his desk, pencil ripping up spiral notebook with, well, notes. He was quite the nerd, and he would be the first to admit it. Extremely low on confidence, Bryan was the lonely kid in the corner who read at lunch and felt very accomplished when he got an A in the class he has a 102% in.
Kaylee kissed her boyfriend goodbye, and she rushed towards another boy. Having not spotted her other boyfriend, he grabbed her with a chuckle. He pulled her into one of the mall’s secret family bathrooms, and swiftly pressed his lips to hers. Kaylee mentally sighed, completely ignorant of the fact she was sometimes regarded as a slut, and always as a bitch.
Ellian threw the football through the trees, sweat-drenched and panting. He was a gentle giant, and the star of the football varsity team. He was the enemy of most of the boys, naturally having a attracting and muscular build, though he had as much brains as a rooster.
Jessica’s earphones whined with intense music as she sat behind the supermarket, beating out a rhythm as a small cigarette dangled from her lip. More people knew her as ‘the freak’ then Jess, and she owned the diminishing fact of having twice as many enemies as friends- not that she had many of the later.
And everything went black.
