Luckily, I am more successful as a stay at home mum, than a writer!
Nano 2011 was my first attempt to write anything. I planned to write a book for my Twilight crazy daughters, that didn't involve vampires or werewolves. I had no idea how hard writing was and only just scraped through Nano with a jumble that didn't resemble what I had originally set out to write. Unfortunately, I was left a creative burnout and swore that I would never attempt such a task again.
So then I went on to do both summer camps.
This year for Nano I am still trying to bash out that same story; whilst my teenage daughter corrects me over my shoulder on comma splices and other such things I have never heard of.....
- Making lists of what I should be doing, other than making lists. Guilty pleasure? Watching MTV and Simming (no, I didn't mean swimming.)
- Favorite noveling music:
- mmm...whatever fits the mood and the character. Personally, I like most things apart from heavy metal and country.
