Author bio:

I love to read. I'm addicted to my Nook, which offers free books on Fridays -- and sometimes throughout the week -- and it's introduced me to some new genres that I wouldn't have considered before as well as new authors.

I consider myself a beginner writer and therefore have a lot to learn. I have written a few blogs for my company, mostly tongue in cheek, short articles.

I am working mainly on nonfiction articles for magazines, but have a novel inside of me trying to get out. I have an outline pretty much worked out, but as I write my novel I seem to change direction. Think of a boat going zigzagging down a river. That's how my writing is with this novel. So, theoretically, I'm going to close my eyes, and let my fingers do the walking across my laptop -- spelling, grammar mistakes and all. And see what happens after 30 days. I'm going to try real hard not to peek and/or edit my work as I go. I have a feeling I'll have plenty of time to do that on Day 31.
