Ivy & Troy drew up a pact when they were 9 years old to ensure they would not become awful teenagers. But when Ivy breaks the biggest rule of all, falling in big dumb love with Troy, the rest of the pact begins to crumble, one vow at a time...
Ivy had always been prodigiously proud of her friendship with Troy. They had made a pact when they were nine not to become idiot teenagers and so far had followed it with total success. They had written it down and both signed it – she still had it under her bed, spiderman stickers and all.
Unfortunately she had added something to the pact which, at age nine, had seemed like a great idea.
She had promised not to fall in big dumb disgusting sparkly eyed love with Troy and thereby sentenced them both to a life of perpetual friendship.
At sixteen this clause had come to be something of a problem.
