I'm not really new to NaNo but registered too late in 2008 to still participate. :P In 2009 I did my first NaNo and "lost" with 47023 words. However I also "won" because before I'd never written so much in such a short time, half of it during the last week and alone 12k words on the last DAY.
In 2010 I wanted to reach 50k ... and won with 67k!
At the moment I live in Germany where I study Speech Sciences and Biology and am in my final exams period that'll end next June. When I'm done I want to work in Forensics, either as scientist or an investigator.
I started writing in English only in 2007 (I'm German) and it would be the greatest thing for me to at least finish one of the many (novel) ideas bouncing around in my head.
I write in the genres crime, detective, mystery, drama, horror (psychohorror), psychology and I like to spice them up with romance, love, humor and erotica.
