NaNo 2009 was my first year participating. I'm using a story that I forced myself to create when I was bored, and am working on it some more this year. I hope to get even further this year than last.
I read a lot(mostly comic books), and I really enjoy creating plot lines, characters, and history for my stories. Many times it doesn't get much further than that. I often explain my stories in a storytelling fashion to my peers, to which they respond with, "why aren't you an English/Writing Major?" I am double majoring in Biology and Biochemistry, with a minor in Japanese. I intend on going to medical school once I finish with my bachelor's degree, though I don't think I will ever give up my first love of creativity(which includes art, writing, and performance).
