Author bio:

I have been writing since I could hold a pen; granted that was just scribbling on paper but, Oh, did I scribble with fervent passion. My writing really caught fire In the sixth grade when I had the most fantastic teacher. I will always be grateful to her for teaching me to let my imagination write. There was also a college writing teacher that must be thanked as well for her appreciation of proper use of language. Because of her I'm able to ask the right questions to get the information I need although, sometimes it takes a couple of tries before I get the wording right.

In high school back in the 80's I collaborated with a friend on a crossover story that started out involving Star Trek original characters and then added Star Wars characters and several comic book heroes before the end of our creation. That was a lot of fun!

I have not picked a genre in which I love to write. I am interested in trying a few out for size. Chick lit seems to come pretty easy but I have done what turned out to be a "thriller" a couple of years ago and last year I ended up writing a sequel (and included the traveling shovel of death).

I enjoy writing as great therapy and I admire many of the writers out there in the published world. What spurs me on and makes me hope that someday I'll have the courage to submit a project is that out there are also so many garbage writers who can't form a decent sentence and yet they are published and make money. If those morons can do it then I know that all I need is get myself out there and be as persistent as they were.

Write on, People!
