Hello all. I'm Patrick and I'm rather new to this NaNo business. I've been writing on and off for the past year or so, but I thought I'd give NaNo a go, to get my (lack of) writing discipline sorted out, if nothing else. It'd also be good to finish a story...

I'm an English Lit/Politics graduate, currently doing a distance-learning course to (hopefully) get into copy-editing, while working in an electric bike shop, to replenish beer fund =)

Pasttimes? When not watching Red Dwarf or Dr Who, I can usually be found quaffing real ale in old man pubs, playing pc games or indulging in a shameless bit of plank-spanking (er, guitar playing). I scrawl the occasional blog post, usually ranting about something that's got my goat.

Most of the stories I've written are sc-fi (some Dr Who), but I sometimes dabble in more general fiction and the odd bit of fantasy.

I'm also a Twittererererer @pdscrib, if you want to hear the unnecessarily frequent and predominantly banal outpourings of my mind.
