Hiya! :D

I love reading and naturally this love of reading is accompanied by a love of writing. I decided that I wanted to be a writer as a first grader and at the time I had my mind set on becoming a reporter like Lois Lane, though I had not yet realized that I was more suited for writing fiction than facts. Ever since the summer before last, there has been a Teen Writer's Workshop that I have annually participated in. Today was the first meeting of my high school's newly formed creative writing club. I have been encouraged both by fellow club members and by a series of Youtube videos from a channel by thosewritergirls to try NanoWriMo this year. I am serious about my goal of writing a novel in a month because the last couple of years I have wanted to do this, but ultimately chickened out. A majority of my writing usually consists of role playing and fanfiction and I'm excited to actually write something longer than a short story about my own beloved characters, as opposed to someone else's. I have a novel idea that I've been itching to pen for the longest time now, and am excited to finally be able to do just that. I'll still dabble with other people's characters because I enjoy doing it, just not very much for the month of November.
