I'm a Latin teacher by day and a novelist by night, writing to my heart's content. I'm the proud owner of a Miniature Long-haired Dachshund named "Roosevelt" after one of my characters--though to everyone else I say he's named after Theodore Roosevelt.

I like to read manga, of which my current addiction is "Library Wars: Love & War" which has some really interesting (and enlightening) views about censorship. I love to read novels and watch movies. Lately I've been addicted to Roleplaying online at www.rprepository.com where you can have up to 10 independent characters (more if you purchase an Epic account or character slots) and can role play with other people.

I've written mostly medieval fantasy and urban supernatural stories but this is my first foray into the modern murder/mystery genre. Wish me luck!
