Long time poetry writer, one book of poetry, "Waterbourne", published in 1997 by KAW Publications.
I have written a lot of prose (poorly) but didn't ever finish it, i.e., wrote a synopsis but never fleshed out the story, wrote a couple of chapters then couldn't figure out what next...Then came the deadline overlord named Nanowrimo...
I have now succcessfully completed Nano three years in a row, I have actually surprised myself. The edits aren't going gangbusters, but the 2009 nano book has had one revision, the 2010 one, well, not so much. Last years book is my best story so far, but it still needs completion. For 2012 I am going to finish last years novel (add another 25000 words or so) and write a short story to finish off the 50000 words. I don't know if that's cheating, but that is the plan.
