I've got one undergraduate thesis, four NaNo wins, and one textbook chapter in my writing experience (among many false starts, short stories, and fanfictions). This year I'm telling a series of connected stories in a universe in which most of the myths you know are real... just not in the way you think. It works out to one story a day (not counting the combined intro/concluding story) for the whole month!

Update: I threw out my rather ambitious earlier goals. I've got a nibble on my agent fishing line (AKA novel query) that I need to address. Now I just want to hit 50k on this project ASAP!
