This is my second attempt at NaNoWriMo. I'm not promising anything this year, but I am going to try really hard. Last year, I failed NaNo, but I raised more than $100 for the Office of Letters and Light, which I was proud of. Even though I didn't actually win, I managed to do something for the NaNo community.
I am a very nerdy person, apart from homework, I completely fail at getting homework in on time! I can spend hours a day watching my favourite Youtubers. Last summer, I was lucky enough to get into Summer in the City, which is a huge Youtube convention in London, it was amazing and I met loads of cool Youtubers.
Next summer, I am going to LeakyCon London, which I am so excited about! It took me 3 hours to get tickets, and I know a lot of people were disappointed, so it makes me feel really lucky.
I should really be talking about writing, so basically, I've been writing since I can remember, when I was little, I struggled in English at school, but I got help and since then, I've been writing non stop. Unfortunately, since my exams in school have started, I've not had time to write very much, so that's why I'm doing NaNo, to force me to write! It will be a long month, but we'll be happy when we've written 50,000 words!
