This is my second NaNoWriMo, and this year I will be stretching myself by writing "live" via Google Docs and inviting my friends to read along. As a military brat who grew up on bases overseas, I've always enjoyed talking with people about this unique, oft-overlooked subculture, and this is what has inspired my topic this year.
