Author bio:
Ally is a 27 year old former film student finally getting back on the University horse after a bad experience at college five years ago. Distance education is a challenge, but Ally loves a challenge, and pursues her English and History degrees in hopes of one day becoming a travel writer, so that she can travel on someone else's dime for once! She has been to London, Paris and Rome, and will hit most of England, Scotland and Ireland by her next birthday. She has a "mild to moderate" case of Cerebral Palsy, and a history of mental illness, which highlights her typically obsessive 'writer crazy' nicely. She is an asexual feminist and does a lot of advocacy writing (it's usually more ranting than writing.) She has two furry children, Sophie, who is ten, and Tootles, who is three, and lives in a small town while dreaming of a bigger one. She prefers tea to coffee, refuses to wear socks even though she lives in Canada, only ever eats Skippy Peanut Butter, and plays backgammon like it's a sport.
She also finds writing about herself in the third person to be weird and unsettling.
