Author bio:
When I was just 9, I met my favourite author (Jacqueline Wilson) at a book signing and told her I wanted to be a writer. She wrote in my fresh copy of her new novel, "To Millie, I hope your dream comes true!" Although my love of Jacqueline Wilson has faded to be replaced by a love of adventure and fantasy novels, that memory remains. It was the first time I met a real author, and she told me I could be one myself.
I've had hundreds of career ideas, and with my A Levels choices coming up I should really make a decision on how I want to spend my life, I always come back to author. Maybe I'll never make it in the real world, but fanfiction.net and Nanowrimo are stepping stones to my realisation that it doesn't matter what I do for money - I can always write, just for fun.
