Synopsis
Valerie meets Joshua.
Joshua falls in love with Valerie.

Excerpt
"Well, I'm gay."
Silence.
Something that Valerie had learned that past month was that silence was one of those things could be awfully nice at times, but sometimes it hurt more than anything else in the world could manage to do.
She looked into her eyes and prayed to all of the deities she did not even believe in that this would not get messed up as she saw Sam open her mouth.
"Well that's nice" she said and then a soft smile spread across her face. "I suppose I could say join the club."
Valerie froze.
"Wait, what?"
Sam laughed loudly.
"I am also gay" she said with a smile before spinning around and stepping into the kitchen where she opened the fridge. "Incredibly gay, in fact. Do you want something to drink?"
