I'm Nikki, 27, from the unfortunate deep south. I write YA fiction, bouncing between girly contemporary stories and M/M LGBT. It usually depends on who I feel like being that day. Somehow, I always end up working music, graffiti, and siblings into basically every story I write. I also have a soft spot for surfers. I can't live without Mountain Dew, black eyeliner, Hawthorne Heights, and candles from Bath & Body Works.

I think about writing a lot, and I plot all the time in my mind, but actually sitting down and putting down the words is something that I struggle with, especially once I've finished a project. I have the worst trouble getting back in the groove.
