Andrew (Roo) is currently pursuing a career in professional writing after leaving his primary teaching degree in 2010. Although fiction is not his forte, Andrew has written a number of short stories during his formative years, and is looking to stretch his writing skills into full-length novels. Andrew joined NaNo in 2011 after moving to Brisbane, Australia, and has fallen in swimmingly with the team there.

When not banging his head against a wall in an attempt to make words appear, Andrew wears his editor's hat as Communications Officer for the Young Australian Democrats.
