Author bio:

A recovering attorney, I work part time in a college bookstore. I am married to Brian, who is my greatest inspiration. We have a son Matt, who was adopted at age 15, (but we've cared for and loved him since he was 11.) As foster parents we occasionally do respite care, which are short placements for kids whose foster parents need a break, or who are between long term placements. I am a licensed lay preacher in the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. I also share my space with Josie, the yellow lab, Kiri Te Katawa, the tortie kitty, and Shellton the common map turtle and have made room for my NaNoWriMo Pet Rock, Cliff.
