I love to read. I am addicted to stories, movies, TV, books, what happened to my co-workers over the weekend, postings on the stalls of public restrooms… I don’t consider myself a writer, even though I am one by profession, but I have always thought I would like to write a novel. I never heard of NaNo until my nephew sent me a text asking me to join him in the challenge. I am recently widowed and decided this challenge would be a great, positive thing for my life right now.

I am a former teacher that now uses her education skills as an instructional designer at a tier one automotive supplier in the Detroit area. I own two male German Shepherds and train them for a sport called “Schutzhund.” I am Christian and my faith is very important to me. Following the age old advice to “write what you know”. My novel is about a Christian school teacher who starts training her young German Shepherd on her summer break and gets mixed up in a murder.
