- We are talking after I tend to the house and family, monitor the homeschooling and grade the work, taxi drive the kids to dance most days of the week? After that I volunteer at church - everything from teaching Religious Ed to home meals for families in need. I also love to cross stitch.

- I have learned the joy of ear buds and now plug in to a mixed cacophany on my mp3 where Londonbeat and Florence and the Machine currently reign

- I speak in genres - SciFi, Fantasy (I'm picky here), and Mysteries (no hard boiled for me)
Author bio:
I'm your typical homeschooling mom with a wonderful husband and 2 great kiddos. I've been writing ever since I can remember. In Elementary school I was even in a young writer's program. Last year my writing muse kicked me back into gear and I entered NaNo for the first time - and won! That piece of, um, not so coherent words, is hiding on my hard drive. But this year I've been part of a wonderful online community called W1S1 that challenges its members to write and sub 1 piece each week or month. And it's worked! I've had a few twitfics published. I've sent several of this year's short stories in the world I'm creating for my 2011 NaNo novel and think I might actually know what I'm doing. Frightening!
