My name is Mary. I'm 25 years old and currently reside in Massachusetts. I'm a lesbian, so most of my writing tends to be romantic femslash, although I have done both het and slash a few times before. I'm primarily a fan fiction writer, though mostly because I don't feel like I have enough confidence to write my own original novel. One day I hope that will change.

I use NaNoWriMo for fan fiction and thus far have only won the challenge in 2010 with my Harry Potter novel "Amphierotic Bloodlines", which went on to be 250k+ words when finally completed. Due to a hectic personal life, 2011's novel unfortunately never even got to the 10k mark. I hope to do much better this year with a Merlin novel, who's premise was thought of nearly 8 months ago as part of a Big Bang challenge I never got very far in.
