Author bio:

I'm the author of the Valerie Stevens series for Snowbooks. My third novel, Unseen World. was released in January 2011. I write urban fantasy with a smattering of young adult fiction thrown in for good measure. My agent is Jenny Savill at Andrew Nurnberg Associates in London. I've just completed my fifth novel, TIM REAPER and my agent is currently shopping my young adult urban fantasy, POLTERGEEKS. My goal for NaNoWriMo is to complete THE NORTH, my young adult zombie apocalypse novel that looks good in my head - will see how well it looks once I print off the first draft. I'm participating this year because I want to get the draft off to my agent before Christmas. I participated in 3Day Novel back in 2007. I live in Saskatoon with my spouse and a pair of bone idle cats.
