You know, I'm not actually sure when writing actually came around in my life. It might have had something to do with my second grade teacher. She was the one who, to keep me busy while all of the other kids were working, told me I should write a mystery story for this competition. And you know what? I did. I also found it a couple of months back when I was cleaning out my closet and decided I would reread it. Do you know what I found?
It was terrible. It honestly made no sense whatsoever. Red herrings were used when I had no clue what a true red herrings was. There was no real plot behind it and the bad guy had a terrible motive for committing the crime. But that writing assignment made me start writing. And I haven't stopped since.
