I am a mom to a sweet 1-year-old baby boy. I love creativity and exploring the realm of imagination. Since 1999 I have been writing starting off with dream journals that I turned into stories. When ever I am looking for something, or if it is spring cleaning time, I find random story ideas, short stories, forgotten chapters, etc... Sometimes I think "I wrote that? Maybe I should brainstorm and recreate this." Other times I laugh and think "What was I thinking when I wrote this?"

I have always dreamed of being a published author. After I gave birth to my son I suddenly felt motivated to just do it. He turned my life all around and made it better by doing so. My little prince was God answering my prayers. I dedicate my books to him, my little angel, my present from above. This will be my second year participating in NaNoWriMo. My goal is to have one book published every year until The Gifted Series is finished. Then I may take a break before publishing The Chronicles of Carden. Right now I am working on publishing Women's Island, a dystopian society novel. Soon I'll be submitting it to my editor for polishing ;-) Although I do have free eBooks out on Smashwords, I consider Women's Island to be my first real publication. The Blind Lily (a retired novel) is more like my crash course into the author world. I learned a lot from it and I am applying those lessons I learned to Women's Island, so I will not make the same mistakes.

This year for NaNo, if I get to participate, I will be working on something special for my fans that I hope they will really appreciate. It will be a lot of work but it will be worth it if I can do it. And... I can't tell you what it is yet ;-)
I better get back to working on Women's Island!
