Sereana
Author bio:
I'm a divorced, aging baby boomer who still dreams of making a living as a writer. I have a grown son and daughter and four grandchildren. But since I don't get to see any of them very often, I have more time to write than I really want, if that makes sense.
I finished my 2009 NaNo novel the last two years, pitched it to an editor from New York this summer and, drum roll please, she requested the full manuscript. So I am currently not very patiently waiting for the results. (Update - rejected) Other than that, I had a poem published in Grit a few years back and this year I won a voters choice poll for a short story contest with the Missouri Literacy Festival. I am a member of two local writers groups. Ozarks Romance Authors (which I am secretary of) and Sleuth's Ink (which I'm president of). Both groups have helped me immensely. I also started a blog this year. That's been kind of fun.
I plan finishing at least two more of my NaNo novels in the coming years. And who knows, maybe my dream will come true.
