I'm an engineering student at Imperial College London who's also got a passion for writing! I've been writing for years, mostly really bad stuff since I was quite young, but I like to think I'm getting much better. I mostly write novels, so NaNoWriMo is a great way to focus my first drafts, though I tend to go into it without a plan.
I first heard of NaNoWriMo a few years ago, but 2010 was the first time I participated and I think I did quite well, hitting 62,000 words by the 3rd of December. (I only managed to get to 53,000 or so by the end of November. ;)
I mostly write Fantasy, though I've done some Sci-Fi as well.
Oh, and I have a writing blog (that may or may not be updated frequently). If there was ever a website to plug it, it would be NaNoWriMo! Check it out on the right. :)
