Good evening, folks!

My name is Shania, to some known as the Red Hood (Sarkangalvīte), and quite honestly I have too many names to count. I am 17 years old and am situated around 30 minutes from the capital city of Latvia, using the public bus, which I do and will continue to do for at least a few more years.

This will be my third year at NaNoWriMo, making 2011 the year on my WriMo birth sertificate. First year was hard and I trust that it won't get much easier, but with great determination come great results. Second year I unfortunately did not have time to participate.

Writing is a passion I would never give up. I believe that feelings are easier written than said, and that the imaginary worlds hidden in each of us are closest to reality when we write. The wild side of the inhabitants of my imagination and their own personal stories flow up and make me feel alive, full of emotion, that doesn't even belong to me, but I still feel it, still experience lives that I'm not living - it is pure magic to my mind.
Writing is magic. My reality needs magic to make life bearable and beautiful to the eyes. Without a single drop of this heavenly magic, reality would be grey and tiring, just as it is to many in their teen years. I believe in the power of my imagination. And with great power comes great responsibility, to rescue my mind from greying and my imagination from turning to dust.
