I have a B.A Hons in Near Eastern Archaeology and Medieval Studies. After graduation, I actually did get a job in my field, but working on job sites was too hard so I'm looking for lab work now. In the meantime, I'm working in retail...of course.

Most stories I write are set in the past (usually 1800's, with two set in ancient times). I've finished my first novel (science-fiction) with the help of NaNo last year which can be read here: http://www.authonomy.com/books/33960/revealing-the-revolution/ I'll be using NaNo this year to work on the sequel.

Other than writing, my time is taken up by my job, and teaching Bible study at my church.

Oh, and my favourite tidbit: my birthday is on the halfway mark of Nanowrimo! ....So no massive writing for me on that day. It's my incentive to get my word count before my birthday festivities.
