I always put up writing for the most classic reason anyone seems to have -- too busy to write. Most often than not, our jobs take a HUGE chunk of our lives. When deadlines become so hectic that you would stay until 2am at the office for days at a time, you just have no energy, nor the tiniest brain power left to even wash your makeup properly before crashing to bed, let alone write a paragraph...

That's why, although I've signed up 3 years ago, I still never really, I mean REALLY take part in it. I actually wrote in the last two years, but they were just scribbles in a notebook I never got around to type it up and they never exceeded 2000 words. I took NaNowrimo as an idea, I never actually put my word count at the site, etc.

Then I bought and read No Plot? No Problem! It struck me, the part about 'being busy is good for your writing'.

So this year I'm going to start. Really start. Wish me luck!
