Author bio:

I'm a scholar of Irish Literature and History, having taken my B.A. in 1998 from the University of New Hampshire. I'm currently working on my MA in Irish Studies. (All of my friends will know that I've been working on my thesis since 2003 and have yet to complete it.)

My favorite quote is by J.M. Synge: "I'm a good scholar when it comes to reading, but a blotting kind of writer when you give me a pen."

I've been married for thirty-one years to a wonderful, long-suffering fellow whose only desire is to be left unaccosted during every sporting event known to man (except soccer; it's the only sport I like that he doesn't) and to have the opportunity to spoil a good walk by bringing along his golf clubs. We live in a falling down cottage with our two cats, two MINIs, and two televisions.
