Synopsis
Papias' family and tribe were slaughtered by Noah, and God. The souls of his ancestors are cursed by God, and Papias is doomed to walk the earth until the end of time time in search of a solution for the curse. Along the way the way Papias becomes a practicing monk, expert in the authentication of religious documents and artifacts. Furthermore, he picks up an ally in Satan, who is more than willing to help Papias in his quest to fight God and free his people.
Excerpt
My name is Papias, and I must kill God because God won’t kill me. I am on a five thousand year quest to redeem the cursed souls of my massacred tribesmen. Moreover, to exact my revenge upon the one guilty of this heinous act, your Heavenly Father. With no one except Satan to share my animus of God, my hatred has calcified over five thousand years into something I cherish and savor. However, after fifty centuries of pensive anticipation, the bitter fruits of my labor amount to nothing more than disconcerting corrosion of my spirit.
