Author bio:
'Realism' has a knee-jerk tendency to avoid extremes as implausible, but 'fantasy' actively embraces them. It magnifies and clarifies the human condition. - John Garth, Tolkien and the Great War
"‘What!’ cried the BFG. ‘No frobscottle? No whizzpopping? No glumptious music? No boom-boom-boom?’” -Roald Dahl
"Humankind gets bored with childhood and rushes to grow up, and then they long to be children again. They lose their health to make cash and then lose their cash to restore their health. They think anxiously about the future to only forget the present so they live neither in the present or the future. They live as if they will never die and die as if they never lived."
I enjoy creating worlds that are similar yet different from our own. Characters with their own internal struggles being tested by an external force as a reflection of our own lives. Underneath the ugly scars that they lash on the world, are beings desperate for a connection. How they meet, conflict and blend is the story I seek to put down in words.
