Laurene Wells lives in Oregon with her husband Ron and 4 children. She homeschools her children during the day and at night she moonlights as the owner of Heaven's Blessings Tiny Zoo, a startup independant game development company. She is producer of the racing game Chariots which was launched in 2008, and the MMORPG Visions currently being developed by an entirely volunteer team. Adding a month of intensive writing to her already packed schedule ought to add some interesting spice to the flavor of her life. We shall see if she survives.
Updates: I failed NaNoWriMo in 2010 with a story that just didn't have enough plot to take me past a couple thousand words. But in 2011 I made it! I hit the WINNER Mark on Thanksgiving day with 50001 words! I took a screenshot to prove it. HAHA Story isn't done yet, but I won the challenge! NOW.... to finish the story!
NEW for 2012!: Going to try this again! Blood Pancakes STILL is not done. It's up to 90,000 words now and has a lot of story left to go! I think I've got enough story here for TWO BOOKS! So that's what I'm going to do this year. Try to finish the story and split it into two books! Oh yes, I am still developming an MMO and homeschooling my children as well. Life does not stop for me. Just piling it on this month! HERE WE GO!!!
