I have loved reading for as long as I can remember. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I enjoyed creating my own stories as much as reading the creations of others. I loved to daydream as a child (and an adult), and sometimes claimed my “characters” as actual friends, especially when it meant getting my way with my parents. My family always encouraged me to write, as did several college English professors, but I didn’t think I would ever be good enough to make a career as a writer. Still, when facing high stress times, I found myself in front of the computer creating exciting new realities.

I am the loving wife to the greatest husband in the world, who not only allows me to stay home and write all day, he encourages it. I also have an adorable shi-tzu/poodle pup named Cami who seems to think she is a little person, and has just about mastered walking on only her two back legs.

When not writing or spending time with Pookie, I can be found with family and friends, at a community theatre or choir rehearsal, at a minor league baseball game, or relaxing with a cup of coffee and a great book.
