Author bio:
Stars real name is Shannon, and she has been writing since she was 14. She attended the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts in high school for writing, and graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in film in 2008. She spends her day working at the Jefferson Parish North Kenner Library, and her nights film making. She's through the majority of a revision of her 1st Nanowrimo novel, "Tail," that she hopes will be completed by January 2013. When not being bookish, she's schmoozing with other filmmakers. She won best director and best overall in this year's New Orleans 48 Hour Film Project.
