Author bio:
Time to update my profile I guess, with 6 days left to Nano D-day. Not much has changed this year I'm afraid. I'm working 6 days a week at the day job, working harder than ever with my freelancing and noveling on my limited time off. I moved, just 5 miles up the road but I did! I am renting a room from a wonderful family, who has practically adopted me and named me honorary aunt to their 4 month old baby. I made a goal to read 65 books this year, so far I am just over 40 so I have a lot of work to do. Still not married unfortunately, but we can thank the US Federal Government for that one. So I am also spending all my time (and thousands of dollars and months out of my life) trying to successfully navigate the US Immigration system so that my fiance can move here and we can finally get married. I mean, we've been working on this for almost a year at this point and it will probably be another year at least. So, if you value your life, its best not to wax on about the great immigration this country has because I might snap, lecture you about the hypocrisy of it all, how asinine it really is, and then murder you in my novel :)
Oh yeah, also this year I officially kicked one of my former favorite authors off my shelf. Laurell K Hamilton, I regret to inform you that you are dead to me...I cannot abide by another book where the only thing that happens is Anita sleeps with a few more random men and that somehow in doing so saves the day. I enjoyed myself through 9 books, I suffered though 11 more and I am through! So, if anyone would like to get some barely used copies of her books, please Nanomail me and I'll direct you to the book swap site I use lol.
