I am a mother of two young children, and have recently left the computer games industry to be a full-time mom. I am taking this opportunity to explore other interests. I am particularly drawn to Young Adult literature, and as my shoot-for-the-moon goal, I would like my novel to win a Newbery award.

[update] While recently having a chat with someone about projects that never saw the light of day, I commented that I would rather see a project get canned than be attempted with too few resources. Aaaaand I had a lightbulb moment. This is not the year for me to be doing NaNoWriMo. The week here was educational and productive, the novel is solid, but I just plain ol' don't have time right now.
