Author bio:
Katy is an aspiring writer, established 1985 in Great Britain, presently living on the small island of Tasmania, Australia.
She is currently studying a Diploma of Professional Book Editing, Proofreading & Publishing, and has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Professional Writing, a Bachelor of Languages and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons).
When she’s not studying, she is either putting pen to paper for her first fantasy fiction novel, latest travel writing or short story, working as a linguist for a speech and technology company in Sydney, or alternatively attempting to get through her forever growing reading list. She is fluent in Italian and is also fairly proficient in French, Spanish, German and Japanese. She can often be spotted looking like a kid in a candy store at Supanova Pop Culture Expo.
This is her first NaNoWriMo and she looks forward to the challenge with much anticipation (read: fear).
