Author bio:
I have loved reading for as long as I can remember. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I enjoyed creating my own stories as much as reading the creations of others. I loved to daydream as a child (and an adult), and sometimes claimed my “characters” as actual friends, especially when it meant getting my way with my parents. My family always encouraged me to write, but I never took it too seriously.
Still, when facing high stress times, I found myself in front of the computer creating exciting new realities. Unfortunately, life always got in the way, and I didn’t finish any of these stories–until recently. I now have two just-about-done romance novels that I hate and a plan for something new. I have some moments that I truly love in both novels. Ironically, it is the romance that I can’t seem to get right. :-) Always debating between YA and romance, I have decided it is time to give the YA a try.
I am a loving wife to the greatest husband in the world (although I may be a bit biased), who encourages me when I get frustrated and gets up with me in the middle of the night when I have an awesome plot idea I just have to talk through. I also have an adorable shi-tzu/poodle pup named Cami who seems to think she is a little person, and has just about mastered walking on only her two back legs.
When not writing or spending time my husband and dog, I can be found with family and friends, at a community theatre rehearsal, at a minor league baseball game, or relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea and a great book.
