I've been writing since high school, and have always enjoyed it. NaNoWriMo is a yearly tradition- and last, the one year I haven't done it since I started, I felt empty and hollow without a project. I intend for this year to be much better!

I'm 24 and live in the foothills of North Carolina. Fiction is not my only creative outlet. I'm also a poet- having been published multiple times to online journals and twice in print. I do poetry readings on occasion and actually have -fans- (how exciting!). I also cook and bake and ran a popular baking blog for a while until I lost interest in updating it. I'm also a knitter and a member of Ravelry.com (MissBethea is my username there.)
