I am an engineer by day and aspiring writer by night. I try to bring in the design principles and quality rigor from my professional experience, then port back the creativity of writing to my day job. I primarily write fantasy. I like to explore more deeply into myths and legends, and try to put such fantastical things into a modern context. Here I will share progress on my works and my explorations into the habits and craft of a writer.

I'm now returning to my 2011 NaNo draft and preparing to significantly reshape the story. My goal is to use NaNo 2012 to write the additional and replacement scenes (yes I believe I have 50,000 words worth), then use December to complete the combination of a full manuscript, with an eye to start critiquing in the new year.
