Synopsis
Haunt isn't who he says he is; he's not who anyone thinks he is. Neither is Colbie. Haunt, Helaos Sullen, is Colbie's image of boyish perfection; yet, even her faith, and laid-back persona couldn't have prepared her for the horrors that haunt her new friend Haunt.
Excerpt
It was an average autumn day when he came knocking. His eyes, green and intense, spotted with flecks of gold and pools of aquamarine shocked me as I introduced myself as Colbie Aleka Candene Itiello. I presumed that he was one of our neighbors, for I hadn’t had the chance to go exploring yet. He said that his name was Helaos Sullen but, everyone called him “Haunt”. Haunt went on and told me about himself, he was fifteen, one year older than me, lived next door and he adored baseball. {DO NOT COPY!}
